Services Provided

I provide online counseling services for individuals 18 years and older who reside in Arkansas, Missouri and Oregon through an online counseling platform via video and telephone technology. By using telehealth technology, I can assess your condition, provide a treatment plan and work with you to meet your goals. Using technology assisted counseling, you can schedule appointments and have visits with me on your computer, tablet or phone. Visits are safe and secure, and each of the platforms listed below are HIPAA compliant. Please note that I do not provide couples counseling.

Philosophical background and theoretical approach –  I believe in the balance of mind, body, spiritual and social self and that everyone is capable of implementing the change in their lives necessary to promote growth and wellness. Through a therapeutic relationship, individuals can become empowered to see their own potential. 

 I do this through focusing on the practice of three different theories of therapy. Through learning about the way a person perceives themselves, the focus is on you. The goal is to help you better cope with current and future problems. I also believe in trying to identify and change negative thinking patterns to find a more positive behavioral change. And finally, I work to help you find peace by practicing mindfulness, acceptance and removing judgement. Person-centered therapy, dialectical behavioral and cognitive therapy are evidence-based practices that have helped many of my clients overcome anxiety, depression, trauma and other areas of mental struggles. 

 My goal is to empower clients with the appropriate tools to help them overcome struggles and to be able to function in a healthy and productive way. As mentioned, I believe that a healthy lifestyle is a balance between the mind, the body and one’s spiritual and social self, completing the circle of one’s whole health.
